Organic Ways to Control Fleas
Just using your vacuum can help control fleas at all stages of development. Researchers at Ohio State University conducted a study on cat fleas and found that during their tests 96% of adult and 100% of larval stage fleas were killed by just vacuuming. They found that it was the actual vacuuming that seems to kill them. As one researcher noted, "the trip into the vacuum is one way." They also noted that there is no special vacuum that is "the flea killer", they all work. So, if you are nervous using chemicals on a continued basis try to increase your vacuuming - it may just do the trick
